About Conifer Hill Road Association
The CHRA was first conceived and brought into being primarily through the efforts of Rose Jean Harris, Mike and Peggy Deese, Lua SageFisher and Robin and Mike Sloan. The first meeting was held at the home of Mike and Peggy Deese in Niwot, Colorado. Several more meetings took place during the first spring and summer, primarily at Conifer Hill. At each meeting, another version of the by-laws was submitted, revised, and re-submitted. Lua SageFisher wrote the by-laws and then revised them after each meeting to reflect new decisions.
Conifer Hill Road has improved considerably, but still requires routine upkeep and occasional changes to keep the road open and in good repair. Water runoff management is the biggest task. Dragging, grading, surfacing, ditching and maintaining water control structures are the primary tasks.
